The passing away of a friend
Think we were all shocked and saddened by the sudden news of MC King passing away this afternoon.
Unexpected and without warning, he left this world..a world where he has brought much laughter to..he left while we were all working, studying,sleeping ..eating…….
I remember him to be a joyful person..always ready with a joke..someone you could count on to make matters light..to lighten things up…to make happiness fill the air..
One moment this afternoon, he left all behind..
What do we do?
We bemoan that he passed on too young in disbelief…
Some chose not to believe this..
But, unfortunately, it did happened.
I thank him for being a wonderful person,
I salute him for his dedication to his job,
I admire him for his love of life….
As of today i shall change my perception of life and how i will live my remaining days
I shall behold each day with zest for life,
I shall derive joy from life each day..however hard the day was..
I shall treasure what i have at this moment always and rejoice in having them
I shall live for the moment and not plan that much ahead( how could we know wat will happen in ten years when we could hardly forsee what will happen in the next hour)
I shall forge ahead bravely and do what i want to do without owing anybody any explanation(this only applies to good things and not bad deeds)
I shall attempt to practice forgive and forget
I shall be kind to myself. Very much kinder!
Rest In peace my dear friend

I am deeply grieved of the passing away of MC king.
He really bring laughter to us.
Whenever he appears on the tv, there bound to have laughter inside.
He did not really leave us.
I think that he does not want everyone to be sad about the fact he left us physically.

i heard the news of his passing on my way back from work. life’s so unpredictable and short. i encountered the passing on of 2 colleagues last year, both were in their 30’s, one had 2 young kids and the other, had just finally found the love of her life and was preparing for her wedding….
often when we encounter the passing of someone, it always awakens us and make us sit up and look seriously at our own life, to treasure every moment…. but more often than not, with time, this awakening tends to fade away… it’s sad but that’s the truth of life… as much as we want to do something, we are sometimes bounded by the boundaries of our life and reality… and we can’t fly as high as we want to … and we can’t venture out as far as we would like to…
but i think we should really try to live each day like there’s no tomorrow… as there may be no tomorrow left for us to do what we should do today…

Just now, watching channel 8, 10pm news and there’s this news on MC King. He passed away this afternoon. First thing in my mind, “Is it real?” Surprised! and Blank are only words in my mind.
The only thing I can remember of him is his laughter – always fill us with lots of happiness
How much he has brought laughter to all of us
Shocked by the sudden news, i’ve no words to describe the feelings which i had now.
I always learn how to live my life to the fullest – treat the day is my last day on earth (‘cause I won’t know what would happen to me in next minute). Treasure what I have. Value my friends and family’s with their no boundary love and concern.
Every day, I learn how to be happy and not be sad
Every day, I learn how to forgive someone who tries to irritate me
Every day, I learn how to love more than my usual self
Every day, I learn how to forget all the unhappiness and sorrow in life
Every day, I learn how to be braver

HAPPY NEW YEAR
很快的2007年即将过去，2008年也悄悄的来了。
每年到了这个时候都会有人来问你对明年的展望。哈哈哈，老实说，我本人无什么大志，所以“得过且过”，宁可吃错不可放过。。。哈哈哈哈。。。哎哟，我就是这样的拉，对“明天”就是没有什么规划。
真是这样吗？40岁的人就这样的虚度吗？
哎，很多时候计划总赶不上变化，变化总因老板的一句话。。。现今的这个社会，事事难料。今天风风光光，明天口袋光光。
只要每天努力向上，对得起自己，家人和友人，明天哪怕天塌下来也能即登“极乐世界”吧？我想。

I’m Claudia here.i’m 23 this yr. FRom young time i like to watch his drama or any jokes on tv. He is very cute and brings all of us laughter. Last year i used to worked in Expo as a interior design in Unimax Creactive. i saw MC king and Fiona Xie pass by. When i see him at that moment. he looks healthy but why out of a sudden he leaves us. It is very sad. No one at home to look after him? If there’s people with him. He could be save. It os very unlucky year, i feel that heavens is unfair. He is too young. Anyway, we should give him a blessing to rest in peace. MC king, i miss your laughter that he brought all of us.

Still can’t believe & accept that such a great comedian has left us so soon…. He has bring us so much fun, laughter & joy whenever he is on tv programmes. A good & humble actor who play his role well despite on what role was given to him. Also, he is a well liked & pleasant person to colleagues, friends & audiences.

It’s a pity…a real pity…he was such a kind soul. His laugher is always so genuine and it was always so contagious. Hearing him laugh on radio always had a therapeutic effect on my mood. I can tell that he was a hardworking man who did not give up despite numerous setbacks.
As fellow Singaporeans, we really ought to take pride in having an artiste who was so passionate and professional about his work.
You will always be remembered…

I always admire MC King for his talent. It is indeed very tragic. When my friend called to inform me, I was totally shattered. At 40, God rests his soul.
You are right, Bryan, live one day at a time. There is no sense in fighting like cats and dogs; and cannibalising each other in the industry.

i am also very sad and shocked to hear the news of MC King’s sudden death!
I guessed no one realli knows wads gonna happen tml…
All of us also did not expect such a thing will happen ryt?
Furthermore, MC King is said to be healthy..so what could be the cause of his sudden death? No one knows.. to me,although he seldom act in major roles,but he is a very professional actor with lots of joy and laugher in him.. I also experienced the feeling of losing a loved one just last yr(in the early november 2007). It was my grandfather(my mum’s dad). My grandfather’s death was not sudden because he was already bed-riddened for 6 long yrs after a stroke. So,my family and i were mentally prepared that my grandfather would be leaving us soon..My grandfather died at the age of 80 plus i think.. haha just a little sharing here..
anw..MC King is still very young! But he had to leave us for now..but i am very sure you and yr colleagues will rmb MC King forever ryt? Just look at the bright side and rmb his fun and laughter he brought to u..and also his lovely contribututions to the acting career (: I am sure he will rest in peace!

I was surfing at Xin.SG yesterday afternoon as usual for current affairs & entertainment news when I saw the headlines… I kept blinking my eyes…
These few weeks at 5:30PM CH8 weekdays re-run “Jing Zhong Ren” where he had an acting part of “Bai Cai,” can’t believe that he’s already gone.
When I told Mum, she thought I was joking.
Reality kicked in when the evening news reported it.
God, it’s only the 4th day of the year…

It’s a shocking news of MC King die. 40years old there still alot things haven’t go thru yet.
Life is soooo short no one can tell. Hope everyone will make full use each day. To live a day and gain a day that what I believe.
MC King will rest in peace and he is a great actor. Bring alots laughter to audience even children too.

I really did not know about MC King’s death till now, as I am away from Singapore..Is really shocking..To me, just encounter a superior of mine passed away on 2nd Jan 08, and yet today,,MC King left us….But,,life still have to goes on for us…”Jin Ri Bu Zhi Ming Ri Shi”….To everyone..Lets Live to the fullest of our daily life bah…And to him..Our forever n dear comedy idol..Rest in peace….And to Bryan, I certainly know how you feel now…must really take care…Jia you..

I was shocked to hear of this piece of news when I read the papers yesterday. But I’m sure we’ll all wish him the best wherever he goes. He has brought joy and laughter into our lives when he was around. And even now that he has passed away, he will forever live in our hearts.

It always so sad when it comes to learn that a close one or a friend had departed from earth. Memories of good times will flow into our minds and missing those precious moments of being together.
We can learn a lesson that this will be a time for everyone to treasure and enjoy each moment that we are having with our love ones and those around us. Be thankful of what we are all receiving and blessed with. Learn to share and do what you want so that when the day comes, we will leave this earth without regret.

I think during his funeral, he does not want us to be sad for him. he will want us to smile for him. he brought us laughter, so we should bring laughter back to him. It’s difficult, but it is with respect to him that we do so.

i knew ab e death of mc king from my friend’s blog. when i saw that part, i didn’t really believe it. although im not really familiar with his stuff, & all i knew ab him was that he’s a cheerful guy. & when i read e newspaper, only then i knew that all this unpleasant news is true. life & death is unpredictable. im sure we’ll always remember him, & e joy and laughter he brought to us. & im sure he’d not wan us to grieve over his death. jiayous everyone(:

im realli shocked when i heard radio1003’s dj, anna saein tat mc king passed awae. i nv thought tat he wil jus passed awae like tat.. i tink a lot of ppl feel sad for him. when i told my fren tat mc king passed awae, they thought tat im kidding.. but actualli im nt.. life is like tat.. anyone can jus pass awae without any warning. sad & realli realli hope tat he cn rest in peace.!. he’s alwaes seems to b a happi person in towards a lot of ppl.. but i noe tat he might b feeling veri tired when there’s some financial problem=( MC KING WILL ALWAES B IN ALOT OF PPL’S HEART*!!!!!!!!!

You are right, treasure what you have now.
Who knows what come tomorrow so just be happy and enjoy yourself.
Treasure the people around you and lets forgive and forget.
Lets us pray for MC, think of the bright side that he did not have to suffer
at all, he just went away peacefully though my heart is aching.
I remembered the day when my mum was very sick, she left us last May,
a monk told us that we must learn howto let go life is sure that we have
to go one day too. He says treasure the good time we had together. Just
be happy and follow our heart, like you say as long as we do not harm anyone.
So smile and be happy always tomorrow will be brighter.

I ‘m sad about M C King’s sudden death. With so many sudden deaths arround, I think we must be contented with what we have & don’t take things for granted. Treasure which and everyday. Live life to the fullest because every moment could be the last.So what if we have lots of $$$, we still have to die one day.So be contented.Easy to be said than to be done.Must practise it.

Sad that he die so young but at least he die fast and without pain. Sometimes in life is destinated when we will die, it is not a choice we can make or change.
But I want a life that is short and happy, that’s it. Happinest are always short lived. Why have a long life and not be happy. Short and memorable as long as we live each day wisely and happily.
