Hi all, its Monday again! This episode is gonna be the first for year 2008! Since we have lost twice in a row, we are really not looking forward to another round of defeat.With our bubbly contestant Anna and hubby, we got to work and created the following look!
Aiyo! We lost again wor!
That makes it three in a row liao! Fortunately, anna and hubby were really gracious about it and with their encouragement, we will be back next week!

Dont be discourage.your decor is very classy n beautiful.I rather have those flowers than those bamboos which they will have hard time cleaning it .U are the best n I love all your decors.For me U are a winner.

ii thot u would win. becosh the paints of the wall matches nicely and ii feel kinda relaxed.
mark’s winning was a shock to mee cosh ii felt that his theme is most likely like a resort feel. but ii like most of his diy thou’. he’s getting great in his diy by recycling the leftover bamboo..

hey i think u guys should have won instead! ‘tropical’ doesn’t mean jungle and the other grp was really like a jungle or forest..whatever. In any case, the judges were just plain blind.
and to sum it up, ur ideas and designs etc are MUCH MUCH better than the other grp’s.

i think it’s tough to make a house look amazing, and yet retain that sense of homeliness, which makes you feel so cosy when you step into it. however, you have always managed this mean feat! =)

Hi Bryan! Don’t be discourage by the result, we can see that you’ve done your best. You know what? I was on the phone with my back facing the tv, when I turned back and saw your painting, I went “OMG, it’s so beautiful!!!” No exaggerate. Although this isn’t my first time seeing your great drawing skill, but I’ve never expected to see the beautiful flower. Everytime when watching the show, my mum will go “if lost also nvm, the house owner gets to keep Bryan’s painting, how good if he comes to draw for us”. LOL!

I seriously thought that you are going to win this time. The painting is so good! But, I guess the home owners are still happy becos they get to keep the beautiful painting.
I do like Mark’s idea with the bamboo to cover the huge kitchen entrance. But that’s the one and only one thing I like about his design.
Tell you what, maybe you try to snatch ‘little angel’ to your side for a few weeks. Can see that he is a very smart and creative helper. Not to say your current helpers are not good, but ‘little angel’ is too strong.

I’ve really admired you for your talent in designs.
Well, to be frank, from the designs you have created the past few episodes, I am not too sure whther have you reached a point of stagnancy, 平井?
The artwork you have created are good, and you never fail to impress the audience! But somehow your design concepts are more or less fixed/capped.
Of course, this is my personal view.
I do not like Mark at all, especially his yayapapaya attitude. But I must say, his designs do stand out this time round. Especially the ‘light shadows’ created on the ceilings and the DIY Bamboo lights.
I hope you don’t mind my frank opinions. Well, still, I’ll wish to see upcoming Home Decor espisodes, to see Mr. Wong displaying his creativity once again.

Dear Bryan, the home layout reminded me of my first four room flat, even the dinning room lamp is exactly the same. I will be the happiest person in the world if THIS IS MY HOUSE, because so nicely designed!
This house is slightly small, quite a challenge for decoration, too much stuff will make the room crampy. Previously we only have a sofa, tv in living room, a single dinning table and lamp. That’s all we can decor.
Space is a winning point, sometimes….agree?

Always love your creative designs especially when some of them are DIY. Somehow don’t understand at times why you didn’t win. I love your creation above too. It looks so much like a resort. So relaxing.

Just my 2cents worth.
I felt that Mark’s DIY really gives people surprises each time. We all know that Bryan’s drawing is very nice, that is no doubt about it. However, it does not give the “wah” feeling because somehow or rather, Lee Teng, knowing that you are good at drawing, always request you to draw. And in almost all the episodes, you are drawing. It is no longer a surprise. I guess what the judge wants to see is the surprises they can get when they stepped into the house. It makes people wonder how one is gonna decorate the house, there is curiosity.
And, please, do not let Lee Teng be the decision maker. He is sure cannot make it.
And i must say, Mark’s group’s Xiao Tian Shi is really giving in his ideas as well, like in this episode, he took his initiative to “design” the wall. However, as good as Ah Boon’s painting skills, he is just a “painter”. He could use some of his professional experiences, gives some ideas, it might turn out well.
So, i hope, Bryan, DON’T GIVE UP, we are always behind you. However, maybe, stopped drawing for a few episodes, think of other things to do other than drawing. I still remembered the first season, you had so many DIYs instead of drawings. The DIY metal made dog lamp and many others. This season, is just drawing and drawing and more drawing. And Ah Boon, congratulations on your newly wed, and do give some ideas as well.

Your designs are always the BEST! I watch the show every monday, our family always said your designs is always much much better then Mark Lee! Sometimes we also don’t undertstand the judges taste!

Hi Bryan, I was really looking forward to your artistic or creative side when I tune in to your program and was really disappointed to see that you are not your usual self, and i feel you did not put in your best effort. I see you quite trouble and even in your cheery cheeky self is not there. Whatever you are facing please buck up and dont disappoint me leh, I was supporting you but I see Mark is improving and putting in more effort than you.

Aiyoyo, u lost again ??? During our lunch break, the women are chatting abt last nite espisode. They felt tat u are extremely very very quiet, maybe u r too tired lor…, but they still love the ‘flowers’ u drawn, and they r sure u will win tis tx, but why why why wor, lost for no reason, just becos the lightings – the judges ‘Chen Han Wei ???’ specifically mentioned abt the lightings, but not the ‘art piece’ or ‘furnitures’ tat count…pls lor !

I need to ask you something.
Last season Home and Deco, there was once when the home owner of your team bought this black blinds to hang. It looks just like black strings. Remember? Where can we find that in Singapore? Actually, I’m looking for something to hang at my bedroom door. Becos my bedroom door is sort of facing the main corridoor at an angle. In the day time when I’m at home, I usually have my bedroom door open, but I don’t like my neighbours who walk pass be able to see my room clearly.

Your talent for painting is very good. However, I feel that your design this time makes me feel very warm ie “hot”. I think this is because of the lighting. I think Mark Lee’s design has a more cooling feeling, thats why he won. Hope you can improve on this next time. All the best!

I think it’s the furniture that makes you lose. Because overall i saw is like very typical design of the house. Your previous episode looks more creative and suprising.
