The City that never sleeps once again enthralled me when i flew back there again to do yet another epi of the programme with none other than Fann Wong.. Coincidentally, we met at the entrance of the changi airport and by the time we reached Hong Kong, the awardness of working together for the first time is gone..

With Fann on board , we are out to scout for vintage pieces ,high fashion and wine and dine the hong kong way..

WE started our journey with the intro filming at Causeway Bay..

Standing amidst the thronging crowds at a traffic light is quite an experience..watch out fot the opening segment of this epi..

We went first to the shop of a hong kong designer and Fann looks splendid in her creations..

Had a rather interesting interview segment with Fann at Agnes.B Cafe, where she shared some of her little secrets..then we proceeded to check out the merchandise there..

Next Stop Loewe.. Where Fann bask in the eternal lightness of beauty..

Don’t we always marvel at the night scenery in Hong Kong? The best way is to dine at the star walk..

We also met up with our two supermodels, Jessie and Celia, who started their own fashion line offering exquisite bags..

The last part of the filming saw Fann sharing some tips with you guys…

And then, its a wrap! shopping Time!

As you can probably see, its been a really fun trip..watch out for this epi when its aired..me thinks you will rather enjoy it…

P/S: Lastly, would like to share with you guys my favourite joint in Tsim Tsa Tsui, the wanton mee there is to die for!!

Many years ago when i was fiming with the cast from Hong kong, for about three months, i fell in love with this ordinary yet delectable wanton mee where you can probably see me there at least five days a week. The lemon honey tea is heavenly..

So guys, next time you visit Hong Kong, perhaps you would like to give it a try..

Never thought that i would have to do this.We thought that you will always be with us.You brought so much joy and happiness to our family..

You are the pillar of strength to my sister..A daughter to my mum..A princess to me….a wife to boy boy..a mother to your offsprings

How could we step into the house again when you are no longer there, waiting for us like you always do?

How could we ever sit down and eat again when you are no longer at the foot of the table,telling us you want to have a bite of whatever we are having?

How could we sleep in the still night when you are no longer there watching out for us?

My dearest love..how can we go on without you?

Life would never be the same again ..

The moment you left, you took with you a huge chunk of our hearts…

Though you cannot breathe anymore,

You live forever in our aching hearts.

This time round the family that got our team has a rather odd layout which gave us quite a bit of a headache. Nevertheless, we relocated their living room and created a new dinning area for them and this is how it went…

as you step into the flat, you see an open concept kitchen…

not too exciting as the sink area looks rather messy …

The living area felt really cramped as that was originally a study area..

We decided to go for a combination of modern furniture + English/american classic and the result is this!

Thru this diy mirror by me you could see that now the tv console is actually where the dinning table was…

And the new dinning area..

is where the old sofa used to be..we specially created a sort of a bar area at the side..

and of course, a cosy little corner to relax..

Was a rather funny filming day as we laughed over many sudden incidents revolving around Lee Teng..We were rather pleased with the overall transformation of the flat..

We lost.

Just got back not so long ago from hk,just two days ago..The trip was rather hectic for me as i have to fly to and fro hong kong twice as i have to be back in sgp for filming for Home Decor..The first part of filming was with Felicia, whom i have worked with before in the drama.. Needless to say, its all fun and laughter non stop.. Together with an entourage of eleven, we raided some interesting little shops in hong kong in areas such as central, tsim tsa tsui, lan kuai fong etc..

The hotel that we stayed in is The Luxe Manor..a pretty cool boutique hotel that is done in a rather unique style..

The stay was rather pleasant but quite hurried as we film from nine to ten thirty almost everyday.. On the day that i arrived, which is friday morning, straight away i was whisked to our first location for filming, where we had the pleasure of having felicia to model quite a few number of clothing..

Besides fashion, we had a rather good heart to heart interview at this cafe called Charlie Brown where we sample a twelve inch Hot Dog..

This cafe is decorated with lots of figurines and dolls from charlie brown’s collection all over..

Comics are pretty much all over the place

Throughout the entire trip, feli got our hair stylist Ryan( the one with the goatee) to constantly snap away, i think you could see lots more pic in her blog..

While she is snapping.. and believe me when i say that she has quite a collection of pattern for posing..

And of course, food! Glorious food! i was pleasantly surprised to know that for my first night in hong kong, we are having dinner at Yong Gei..

My love affair with the roast goose and century egg there started years ago when i first went to hk! When i was young, whenever i watched those hong kong drama serial, they always like to bring home the roast leg of goose wrapped in a brown paperbag..thru the years, i yearned for the day when i could visit hong kong, so that i could buy myself a roast goose leg wrapped in a brown paperbag.. I don’t know if i love the taste of the goose or just the memory of it..by either way, it became the mst oved food for me from hk.

If you ever do vist this restaurant, you have to try the century eggs..Oh Oh Oh..one could just die as the delectable egg melts in your mouth..the tangy taste of it accompanied by the sweet sour ginger slices marinated by the chef himself…Hooooo

Besides those mentioned above, they have other mouth watering dishes..

And as you can see, we are very very happy!

Besides fashion and food, we explored a new shopping mall called Elements in Kowloon, where they house every famous brands and some new brands that have made their forray into the hk market. Over at Elements, we explore their skating rink which i am rather pleased to say that both feli and i did not fell..not even once..

Our Entourage of Eleven..

Hong kong! hong kong, where the city never sleeps and people aplenty.. where lights glimmers and fashion glitters..

here we go again! After a much simple and cosmopolitan feel from last week, we were tasked to deal with a seaside living theme..Interestingly, both of the contestants has got the same kind of a flat, i.e five room penthouselike flats at punggol with ceilings as high as 4.5m! Wow you might say, and so did i!

Upon stepping into their house, i found it to be a wee bit too bland and not much is done to accentuate the high ceiling..kind of a waste actually…

WE really wanted to do something that is really out of this world and this time, more in depth woodwork and more diy mirrors and using a never been used before material…thick thick ropes! On top of that , we diy a dining table too!

this time round, we decided to break free from the usual pattern of using three seaters or two seaters and we got single seaters and ottoman instead and to create that romantic feel of living by the beach we hung draperies suspended way up high!

Reflected on the mirrors are the image of the hanging lights and the coconut tree….

Last but not least, our very own diy dining table…….

To be very frank, me thinks our team had one too many big plans for this home..having scaffoldings and lots of drilling on high grounds and failed attempts really got us very very tired..However, the end result was really appreciated by all of us..me thinks we did just fine!

So, come along to the beach with us and frolick with us in the open sea.Open thy heart and thou shall smell the lingering salt in the air…..

By far have already shot five episodes, featuring Jeanette Aw,Fiona Xie, Rui en,Dawn Yeo and Joanne peh..Amazingly, you could detect how clearly different they are in nature… will be off to Hong Kong this friday to film with Felicia and also Fann… Just in case i don’t revert, you know where i am..
